Holidays Part 2

And now for the holiday recap, part two.. our week in the Bay Area with my family...

The Christmas elves!

It's the never-ending season of unwrapping gifts!

Oooh! My very own cash register!

Hitting a local park with Jamba Juice in hand.

Ethan has a new found love for slides!

Katelyn absolutely loves them too!

Enjoying the Japanese Tea Garden.

Fish!

Check out this amazing motorized car grandma found at a garage sale! My life did flash before my eyes and I did get a glimpse of my future in about 13 years, Ethan driving!

One happy boy! It even goes in reverse and has a working radio!

After everyone had a chance in the passenger's seat, Ethan got brave and was driving on his own!

Out for a nice hike at Muir Woods on a chilly day.

Katelyn had fun walking the trails.

We were on a banana slug hunt, but sadly never found one. Ethan kept calling, "Banana slugs, where are you?"

Exploring the hollow tree trunk.

Taking a breather with his aunties.

Cheese!

Hiking with grandma and grandpa!

One morning we checked out the CuriOdyssey Museum with Auntie Jo, Uncles James, and Grandma. It's been fun finding the kid things to do in the Bay Area!

Ethan absolutely loved this activity - placing the foam pieces and watching them float up in the air. He had a great time sharing in the fun with Auntie Jo!

Katelyn enjoyed exploring with Uncle James and figuring out how everything worked.

Enjoying an activity together, seeing how the currents change as you turn the wheel.

Oooh, mud! I think daddy had the most fun with this one!

Washing her hands in this fun fountain.

We had a great second Christmas!
