Happy 8 Months!

Emily has sure been busy this past month, she seems to be growing by leaps and bounds!

Her first tooth! This is when I first saw it breaking through the gum. It is clearly visible now!

She LOVES being with her big brother and big sister. She is constantly looking for them, as they can be great entertainment.

She is VERY curious of her surroundings and is easily distracted.

She's still working on sitting up on her own. She usually topples over because she loses her balance while trying to reach for a toy.

Rearing to go! She is so determined to go forward, but can only go backwards and usually gets stuck in a corner somewhere. Soon enough, she'll be crawling for sure!

She's really enjoying eating her solids and is now eating three meals a day. The one thing she doesn't like is bananas, but other than that, she's enjoyed everything else so far. She's working hard on her pincer grasp and is getting much better at getting food in her mouth. She's one determined little girl! 

One funny thing is that she no longer sucks her fingers to go to sleep, which surprises me. I miss this little sight! (This picture is from November.)
