Birthday!

For my birthday this year David took the day off and we had planned to spend the day at the Safari Park together. It was such a treat to have David home! We had lunches packed and were literally about to head out the door when Ethan told us he had stuck a bead up his nose and couldn't get it out! Ah! Well, sure enough, the bead was stuck up his nose, way in the back! He had tried to get it out himself, but only pushed it in farther. Our plans were thwarted and it was off to Urgent Care for David and Ethan. After a few tries at Urgent Care to get the bead out, Ethan was sent to an ENT (ear, nose, and throat) specialist at a different location.

A few hours later, and a visit to the ENT, the bead was out!

In the meantime, the girls and I decided to head to the park to play!

Making pies and cakes!

The day wasn't how we had planned, but in the end, we got to spend the day together and that is what was most important to me.
