Surprise Day

While we were in the Bay Area for Christmas Auntie Jo and Uncles James planned a surprise day for us in the City. We spent a wonderful day at the California Academy of Sciences. It was amazing how many different things they had to do there!

Enjoying the snow in the Artic Wonderland.

Even Katelyn was in on the action.

Coloring fun!

What is an Artic Wonderland without reindeer?

Brrr! Running around outside near the reindeer.

Looking at the different birds and butterflies with daddy in the Rainforests of the World Exhibit.

The cool chameleon.

Looking at the albino alligator with grandpa.

Claude, the albino American alligator.

Checking out the Steinhart Aquarium.

Enjoying the fish in the underwater aquarium tunnel.

Looking at the sand dollars with daddy.

Having fun taking in all the new sights and sounds.

Tired from all the new experiences... nap time!

Stretching his legs, aka running around.

Deciding what to see next... there was so much to see and do! If we lived in the Bay Area we would definitely become members here.

We even got to watch a show in the Planetarium without the kiddos (since young children aren't allowed in this show), which is the closest we'll get to watching a movie!

Thanks Uncle James!

Thanks Auntie Jo!
