On Saturday we went to an egg hunt at a local church. They had lots of animals to pet, Ethan really liked the bunny, probably because we have been reading a lot of bunny books lately.
We also hunted for eggs. It was a nice setup because they continually had the egg hunt going, so we didn't have to rush to be anywhere by a certain time and didn't have to fight over eggs. Ethan was a bit unsure of it because the eggs were taped shut and he couldn't see what was inside right away.
Katelyn had fun finding an egg, she liked shaking it and trying to put it in her mouth.
Once we were home Ethan thoroughly enjoyed opening his eggs and discovering the candy inside, a real treat in our house!
On Sunday we started off our Easter by going to church. Every year our church decorates a cross with flowers. It's amazing to see the wooden cross come alive with beautiful flowers, a wonderful illustration of the life Easter brings to us.
Family shot in front of the cross after the service. Ethan wouldn't come out from behind his hands!
After church it was time for Easter baskets and another egg hunt. Katelyn just dove right into her Easter goodies!
Checking out her pinwheel.

And Ethan went for the yummy snacks!

After naps we went over to grandma and grandpa's where we dyed eggs and had a delicious dinner.
