Happy Halloween!

We had a busy Halloween day...

We spent our afternoon carving our huge pumpkin. Ethan thought it was fun to carve the pumpkin.

Helping daddy cut out the top.

Katelyn supervising.

The finished product...Elmo!

Our little ballerina.

She is ready and excited to go!

Our little monkey traveling in style!

We are amazed Ethan actually put on his monkey costume, it took weeks of build up and we didn't know if he would put it all on without crying. The thought of a buggy ride, ringing doorbells, and seeing our neighbors was the icing on the cake. In the end he had a great time in his monkey costume!

He was excited to walk up to the houses, however, only picked the ones that were well lit and didn't have any intimidating Halloween decorations.

Ringing the doorbell!

Ethan didn't want to use his pumpkin bucket and insisted on carrying all of his loot. He probably knew mommy and daddy would eat the good ones.

Ethan and his loot.

Katelyn and her loot, she wasn't left out!

Ethan eating his 1st candy bar, a Crunch bar. Yum!

After walking around the neighborhood Ethan helped passed out candy. He eagerly looked out the window for kids to arrive.

We had a really fun time today as a family. I have been looking forward to today, probably because I have fond memories of Halloween growing up. It turned out to be more than I could have hoped for, I just love seeing Ethan having a good time. Hope you had a Happy Halloween!
