Beads! This surprisingly held Ethan's attention for awhile, probably because he had never seen it before, thanks to our garage filled with teacher materials.
Our letter for the day was L, for leaves. It was cute seeing all the kids together sticking leaf stickers on their letter.
Proud of his work!
Re-enacting the book, When The Leaf Blew In, by blowing a leaf into the barn.
Our other activities included a fall sensory box, bean bag toss and alphabet books. Ethan is teasing me by almost putting the dry noodle in his mouth. He didn't play in the sensory box that morning because he played with it all day the previous day.
For outside play one of the activities was a big pile of leaves, to rake, jump in, etc. Ethan had fun jumping in the pile of leaves!
For crafts we made leaf wreaths and sponge painted leaves on trees.
The glue was a bit messy, but definitely fun for the kids to squeeze.
Ethan was SUPER excited to have his friends over and kept talking about all the things he was going to show his friends the days leading up to this morning. He also talked about how he was going to be the teacher and which books he was going to read. It's fun to see him excited about Friends School!

We had so much fun at your house for Friend School! My favorite part was when Ethan re-enacted "When the Leaf Blew In"--so funny! And I'm glad they all jumped in the leaf pile! You got some great pictures!
