Happy Birthday Auntie Kimmie!

Celebration time! This time it was Aunt Kim's birthday!

Road trip to Santa Barbara!

Our home for the long weekend, a beautiful and unique 1920's villa.

Complete with a play structure in the yard and a cottage in the back. The highlight of the weekend for Ethan was staying in the cottage with grandma and grandpa.

On Saturday it was off to the train museum!

We forgot to call ahead and they are closed in the mornings, so we spent our time walking around and taking a few pictures.

The next day we spent the day downtown and got to see where Uncle Brian and Auntie Kim are getting married! It is an absolutely beautiful location!

Trolly ride down State Street!

Lunch on the pier! What's better than a restaurant that lets you throw peanut shells on the ground?

As we were about to ride the trolly back, we were just in time for the Veteran's Day Parade. Very cool!

They also had airplanes fly over!

Since this was a 1920's house, it had a lot of antique items. One being an old-fashioned coffee grinder. Grandpa bought Ethan some coffee beans and this entertained Ethan for a very long time! He told us the coffee grinder had a cog in it, so smart!

Katie got to sleep in a big girl bed for the first time, her own special "star bed". She did amazing and was so sad when we had to deflate her bed! She said, "I miss my star bed". Too bad mommy isn't ready to move her into a big girl bed yet!
