The girls with Dona Maria! Dona Maria has been the maid for Uncle Jose and Auntie Lilia for as long as we can remember. She has not changed a bit over the many, many years. She is such a woman of strength with such a kind and gentle heart.

Many of our aunts and uncles drove all the way back to Tegucigalpa to bid us farewell, that's about a three hour drive each way! We are so thankful for their hospitality and love! We made memories that will last a lifetime during this trip!

After a few tearful good-byes, we were on our way back home.

Back in Houston, we had to wait a long time to get our bags to go through customs. We did whatever it took to entertain the kiddos, including rides around the baggage claim on a baggage cart!

Our last leg was pretty rough, we were ready to be home!
