We took a tour of Tegucigalpa and did a little shopping...
While we were shopping at a ceramic store, another American family at the store asked us if we knew anything about touring the pewter factory. Since grandma speaks Spanish fluently, she was able to communicate with the store workers and we all got to tour the factory!
These are the pewter molds. The melted pewter is poured into the holes.
They melt the pewter on the huge fire in the background. Ethan was really interested in the tour! It was pretty neat to be able to see how their pewter products were made.
Our travels also took us to a local mall where we made an ice cream stop!
At the mall we also bought Ethan and Katelyn soccer jerseys. Ethan is showing off his new jersey with grandma and Uncle Jose!
