After returning from Honduras and getting settled back at home, we needed a low key outing for the day. Feeding the ducks is always fun, so we decided to go to a local pond.
We buy a bag of duck food at the library next to the pond to feed the ducks. So fun!
After feeding the ducks we decided to walk around the pond before heading home. Ethan was leading the way and I suggested that he cut across the dried up area of the pond. What looked like dry land was actually icky sticky mud. Half way across he got stuck and lost his shoe in the thick mud. Thankfully the girls hadn't caught up to him yet, but unfortunately that meant I had to go rescue him. The mud was at least a foot deep, foul smelling, and thick! We definitely had a good laugh, but went straight home for a good foot bath!
