Oxnard!

At the beginning of the month we took a week long vacation with my family in Oxnard. David was asked "What's in Oxnard?" a lot, but when you have the beach and family, I don't think you need anything else!

The beach house! It had a perfect location, a block from the beach on one side and on the other side was the marina. I love that was didn't have to hassle with packing up the car and finding parking at the beach, it was so convenient!

Hanging out with grandma at the beach.

Auntie love!

Hanging out with Auntie Jo Jo in the beach tent.

Ethan was completely fearless at first. After a small slip in the water, he became more cautious, which I don't necessarily think is a bad thing.

We celebrated 2 birthdays during the week, first up Auntie Jo Jo. Look at that amazing gift bag made by her hubbie!

We each signed up to cook a meal and Auntie Kim and Brian treated us to crab!

All smiles! Look at those teeth!

The second birthday we celebrated was grandma's and our nation's birthday.

Celebrating in style!

Confetti eggs! They were so much fun, thanks Auntie Kimmie!

Happy July 4th!

Ethan showing E and lambie the fireworks.

Katelyn really enjoyed being up late and watching the fireworks.

We all had fun watching the fireworks out of the living room window! It was a perfect view.

The peaceful marina.

Hanging out with grandma and grandpa at the marina.

We rented surreys one morning for a few hours and had a great time tiring out our leg muscles in the surrounding neighborhood.

Surprisingly Ethan put on the helmet, mostly because he was enticed by the steering wheel.

Katelyn had a blast riding up in front!

More time at the beach, braving the water with grandpa.

Walking on the beach.

Beach bum.

Another little beach bum.

Having fun!

On our last day we checked out Ventura Harbor and Ethan had a great time exploring with Grandpa.

Hanging around while Ethan is off exploring.

Thanks grandma and grandpa for a great trip, we had a fun, fun time!!!
