Major Recap!

Life has been busy spending every free second working or rocking a teething baby, which leaves no time to blog! So here's a big recap of recent events...

We went to the New Children's Museum and spent the morning there. I have been there before with the kiddos and grandma, but this was David's first time. And the best was that 2 of us got in free because of BofA Museum Day!

We got to the museum early, so it was nice to go in the inflatable tunnel before the museum got busy.

Katelyn loved the rain house! It was funny because Ethan didn't want anything to do with it even though he absolutely enjoyed it on our other visit.

She especially going through the keyhole door, although, it was pretty tight for mommy to fit through!

Big Bubble!

Rock climbing with daddy! He still has a few things to learn (i.e. using his arms too), but he did enjoy it.

We of course had to get messy and paint the whale!

Ethan loved the see-through elevator.

Katleyn's other favorite spot was the barn. She had a great time cruising along the wall and crawling around.

Daddy spotted the row of light switches on the back wall (I don't know how we missed that last time), and Ethan was in switch heaven!

In the evenings we try to go on a walk with the kiddos in the wagon, and eventually Ethan gets out to run. "I need to run!" he says. It's tons of fun and a good way for us to catch up on our day. We had a small hot spell a few weeks ago and ran into someone watering their yard on our walk.

Running through the sprinklers a few times.

Katie wasn't too sure about what was going on.

On Labor Day we went for a nice hike... in the rain!!! Thankfully David grabbed an umbrella right before we left the car because half way into our hike it began to pour.

Daddy being selfish with the umbrella...

... actually, he was protecting Katie. Ethan loved walking in the rain.

I think hiking and exploring is one of his favorite things to do.

Our little hikers!

We had a great time and had even more of an adventure with the rain!
