Whew!

Whew, I'm SO glad that it is Saturday because this means I get to spend all day with Ethan! This week back at work has been insane. It was really hard to leave him on Monday morning, actually it was hard every morning. I have been wondering all week how moms do it (and dads too), balance work and home. I would leave as late as possible in the mornings, rush home as soon as my students were on the bus, spend time with Ethan until he went to bed, then did work until what I needed to get done was finished, pass out exhausted, and wake up early only to do it all over again. I am exhausted! I'm really glad that I only have 2 more days and then it's summer. I won't even let September creep into my mind until that day actually comes.

I feel like Ethan has grown so much over the past week. He's been using his hands a lot more lately and is started to bring things to his mouth. And he loves sitting up, especially in his Bumbo...
