Apples Galore!

We were so excited to make a trip up to Julian to pick apples with grandpa and grandma yesterday! I was a bit sad that we weren't picking pears again this year, as the pear crop was lost due to a freeze in Spring.

We had a nice picnic under a huge shady tree after picking apples, it was perfect. A definite plus was that there weren't too many bees, which there were a ton of last year when we went pear picking. It's time to dry some apples and make applesauce!
