Eggs, Green, Butterflies, and Bunnies!

Here's another recap of the past few weeks at Friends School!

First up, eggs! Touching a naked egg, it's eggshell was dissolved in vinegar.

Balancing plastic eggs on spoons.

Katelyn loves, loves, loves to color. Coloring an Easter egg picture with Cameron.

Next we learned about green in honor of St. Patrick's Day! Ethan with his little leprechaun.

Making shamrock shakes! Yummy!

Katelyn definitely enjoyed hers.

Playing in the water a leprechaun turned green while we were playing on the playground.

Learning all about butterflies! Jen ordered caterpillars so that we can witness the full cycle. They are very interested in the caterpillars.

Ethan is not a big fan of bread, but when you color a butterfly shaped piece of bread with colored milk, he'll scarf it down!

Then it was our turn to host and we learned about bunnies!

Counting out play dough carrots for the bunnies... or just having fun with the play dough.

The play dough was definitely a hit with Ethan and Katelyn!

Mixing primary colors in shaving cream and seeing what colors they made.

And of course we can't learn about bunnies without the Easter bunny coming early and hiding eggs for us!
