Happy Easter!

Our weekend started off going to an Easter egg hunt at a local church. We went last year and really liked that the egg hunt wasn't competitive, so we went again this year.

Ooh, an egg!

Peek-a-boo!

Eagerly checking out what's inside one of his eggs.

Enjoying some Easter candy.

On Sunday morning Ethan and Katelyn got to open their Easter baskets from their grandparents after a filling breakfast.

What's inside?

Cheese!

Check out my glasses!

Nothing like a few M&M's to start the day.

Or a handful of jelly beans!

At the Easter service at our church.

Snuggles!

Our church transforms a wooden cross to a cross covered with colorful flowers, a beautiful illustration of the life the event of Easter has given us. It's amazing to witness!

After lunch we had a "mini" egg hunt inside the house because Ethan had been eagerly anticipating the Easter bunny's visit all day!

Finding eggs!

After naps, the Easter bunny visited us again!

A pro at finding eggs.

Is it jelly beans? Jelly beans were definitely the candy of choice today. If it didn't contain jelly beans it went into Katelyn's basket, lucky girl!

Beating her big brother to an egg! Actually, Ethan did an amazing job letting Katelyn find eggs too.

Our Easter was even more special because we got to spend it with Uncle Dan and Aunt Kari. Thanks Uncle Dan and Aunt Kari for driving down and spending the day with us! I know Ethan and Katelyn really enjoyed their time with you today!

We had a memorable Easter and hope you did too!
